A warm welcome to Adam & Company

We are delighted to welcome you to Adam & Company, one of the largest and longest-established wealth management firms in Scotland. Our mission is simple – we believe in helping you to achieve the future you want through enlightened wealth management.

If you are an existing Intelligent Capital client, you may be wondering how this will affect you. To begin with, rest assured that your financial planner at Intelligent Capital will remain the same. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with them.

You will also see very little change in the services you receive. However, your financial planner will now be able to draw on Adam & Company’s extensive expertise and resources – including access to our in-house investment management services.

Over the next few months, we will begin to transition the Intelligent Capital brand to our established Adam & Company name and logo. Throughout this integration period, we hope to highlight our partnership, strong cultural fit and commitment to building on the foundations that both companies have established – whilst continuing to provide you with the high level of service that you have come to expect.

Adam & Company was founded in Edinburgh in 1983, and was the first new private bank to be established in Scotland since 1844. Throughout a series of structural changes over the past 40 years, our primary aim has remained the same: to serve the wealth management needs of Scottish clients and their families.

In 2022, we became part of Canaccord Genuity Wealth Management (CGWM), a top-ten independent UK wealth management company by assets under management. In becoming part of the wider Canaccord Genuity Group, we can draw upon global resources and expertise for the benefit of our clients, while retaining our own Scottish identity.
